Self Potrait

I must admit that its been a long & dry weeks in terms of being creative. So, I figured out to do some self potraits since I currently have no willing models. Even my daughter is not really keen to be my model nowadays. So what I did was, set up a continuous light shoot through a white diffused umbrella, black velvet background & a home made snoot taped on my flash head. Had to do some facial enhancement and botox to make me look younger..heheh..

Fatal Accident @ Tasek Lama

An almost daily common sight on my way to work, I usually see this old Chinese lady walking along the road (from Sheraton to Mabohai) pulling a trolley full of veggies who seems oblivious of the traffic and the people around her. This old lady really intrigues me. Who is she? Where does she lives? etc..etc.. Inside me, I prayed for her safety as she usually walks on the road itself & not on the pedestrian pavement. I also had this idea of taking some shots (photos) of this old lady on my next annual leave. She would be a very interesting subject in the picture, I guessed.

This morning, on my way to work, the traffic was unusually slow. There was an accident upfront and I continue to drive slowly. However upon passing the Tasek Lama junction, I saw a trolley, vegetables (kang kong and others) & blood on the road. These was the old lady's trolley and veggies and the blood on the road was hers.

No more intriguing old lady every morning & may her soul rest in peace. Condolences to her family...

Cabaran Anak Brunei - Final

Congrats to the Dragon Ball team for winning the 2009 CAB organised by BIBD. Too bad I missed the prize presentation ceremony due to difficulty in finding a parking space at the Mall. Nevertheless, the top five finalist were superb! Congrats to you all and also to all participants of CAB 2009! It was challenging, exhilirating, tiring, hot, sticky but most of all FUN! Well, I'm so lazy posting the pictures of today's (final) event in this blog, but I've uploaded many here and here. Enjoy the pictures guys..I'll be flying off to KK tomorrow!

Congrats to all participants of BIBD first ever endurance games, Cabaran Anak Brunei. You guys really rock! & we are glad that you all had fun despite of the gruelling tasks given to you. Not much updates

I've been so busy lately & has not been able to find time to upload some photos taken during my children's birthday celebration last month. Nurin turned 7 on the 7th April while Izz is now 4 years old (14th April). I only wish them the best in their future endeavours and hope they will grow up as fine individuals.

On another note, wifey has started her own small internet business selling gbitz like charms for crocs or other stuff with holes. Gbitz is the original version from Crocs whereas charms that she is selling is the alternative and cost 4 times less.
